replying to @Stromfieldadvs @Stromfieldadvs @vickyinglis13 @kate_frankie #pttravel We *thought* we were going there last year, but we just called at the Visitor Centre, which is some way from the glacier. But, we had an interesting lecture about glaciers. and I bought the T-shirt!

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2. The trip to Belize was an expedition especially to dive on the reefs, so that was deliberate, but other UNESCO sites I've visited have all been incidental to the point of the trip. But they're important for a reason + add to the interest in a place #PTTravel

#PTTravel Chat is going much faster than me tonight! I've failed to answer any question yet

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2 I think there’s a few bucket list sites like the GB reef. Certain national parks are on my travel bucket list. But it’s always nice to come across some by accident too #pttravel

replying to @Stromfieldadvs @Stromfieldadvs @kate_frankie #PTTravel I think if you organise it differently, you might enjoy it more. I went on the standard 2 day boat trip with a stop on 2 islands to see dragons and I felt rushed around. If you can, go for longer and independently.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #A2 #PTTravel We do some research after we have chosen a trip destination. UNESCO sites are an added bonus. I didn’t even know about #Sintra until I told a friend we were going to #Lisbon.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2: I rarely know something is an UNESCO site, its just an added bonus usually found out when I have visited or even after. I think planning to see what you want irrespective of whether it is an UNESCO site is the way to go #pttravel
