Welcome to #PTTravel Chat!
How are you and where are you this week? What are you looking forward to?
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Hi #PTTravel from San Francisco! I’m wrapping up my 1 month west coast travels. @Vegas was definitely the highlight so far!
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Hi all. We've stayed pretty local this weekend and I'm looking forward to taking some more selfies - new glasses WITHOUT reactions lenses = less looking like Roy Orbison all the time #pttravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel Out of quarantine at last! No plans just yet ... waiting to see if this bugger's muddle sorts itself out. But, at least we can do some leaf-peeping

I'm in North East England and I've had my fringe trimmed so I can see now!
I'm looking forward to watching the leaves change colour and starting to wear cosy knits and boots. I've got a lovely cuppa and I'm grateful we're all ok here so far.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. The fall season makes me chase summer! I’m flying to Florida with @Delta this week! ☀️ #PTTravel
A1 #pttravel I’ve done several trips in the fall. I think of cooler temps, changing leaves & fewer crowds. Pictures of Montpellier, Vermont during a fall trip.
A1 #PTTravel Got to be those fantastic colours. You can journey far afield, or just down the road to find them.
A1 Over the years we've regularly travelled to France during October half-term - you can probably see why. Alas autumn 2020 will not be happening and so methinks we'll be exploring a bit more of Yaaarkshire #pttravel

A1 Autumn 🍂 is golden, red and burnt orange. A big low sun and a fresh chill in the air. Its cosy knits, fire on and a cup of tea/coffee/hot choc with a good book. I love watching nature change the most. Getting slower and bursting into richness
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A2: so, my adventures in West Africa were technically autumnal, although obviously the difference between "autumn" there and autumn in the UK are ... obvious. (They don't really *have* autumn, in that sense).
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. Autumn for me is all about crisp mornings, crunchy leaves and pumpkin spice lattes. I love it immensely and it is (normally) my favourite time to travel. #PTTravel
A2 #pttravel Seeing Turkey when @RickSteves was still doing tours. It was late October early November. We were the second to the last tour of the season & had great weather. I saw fireworks at Sydney NYE & Turkish National Day in the same year.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A2: Butrint, Albania. I did an exploration of Albania/N.Macedonia/Kosovo in the autumn a couple of years abck and it was very interesting, as well as much warmer than you'd expect.
