A2- I can't say for sure, but judging by the way the elevation hit me, I'd have to say that #ColoradoSprings is the highest I've ever been

A3 #pttravel Glacier Bay, Alaska. Our furthest west. The westernmost place we've ever set foot is Juneau, a little to the east.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie The final day of our three day road trip around south Wales was epic! We started the day in Swansea, drove to Mumbles, visited two beaches on the Gower peninsular, wandered round St Fagans, before driving 6 hours back to London.

replying to @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie #pttravel A3: oldest place I've visited - Hagar Qim, Malta.

Close runner up - the Outer Hebrides (here. North Uist and Lewis).

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. I’m not much of an extremophile, but a road trip through the Transylvanian countryside with four school friends and a couple of random Romanians felt pretty intrepid at the time. #PTTravel

A3 People thought Colombia and Pakistan were extreme trips. I didn't!

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3: It doesn’t look extreme based on the photos but I definitely took the hiking route to the famous white houses in Santorini...and did it in sandals. The views were worth it tho 😅 #PTTravel

A4 Part 1 - Helsinki felt coldest at -20C but Riga got down to -35C one night. The last day there was a balmy -15C...so I ventured out in a hoodie.
I struggled to move my neck for three days after getting home! And our friend's hand stuck to a door handle 🥶

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. Weather warnings every day of our trip to Lithuania! 😬

I’m told this is v unusual. 😉

It’s such a beautiful country with so much history and great beaches, forests and lakes. We had a fab time despite the weather.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A4: Hottest ... possibly France, bizarrely, where I was during the severe heat of 2003.

Although West Africa, Zambia, and parts of SE Asia ran it close. I'm sure I've experienced 100°F in at least two of them ...

A4 #pttravel I think the top of Cairngorm got pretty cold ... but we were well prepared for it. Hottest was Copacabana Beach. Walked for about a mile along the promenade, and stopped at just about every juice stall for a drink and a sit down.

replying to @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie #pttravel A4: coldest? -16ºC, Poland, March 2018.

I may have experienced colder. ovr Christmas 1996, also in Poland, where the diesel froze in the coach, but I have no actual proof ...

replying to @5to9traveller @kate_frankie So many kids from close by kindly came to help us though. I know nothing about cars hence me contributing nothing...I’d make the situation worse #pttravel
