replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. Hottest was 117F weather in Egypt in July years ago. I didn’t care - I was just thrilled to be there! #pttravel

A4 Part 1 - Helsinki felt coldest at -20C but Riga got down to -35C one night. The last day there was a balmy -15C...so I ventured out in a hoodie.
I struggled to move my neck for three days after getting home! And our friend's hand stuck to a door handle 🥶

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A4: Hottest ... possibly France, bizarrely, where I was during the severe heat of 2003.

Although West Africa, Zambia, and parts of SE Asia ran it close. I'm sure I've experienced 100°F in at least two of them ...

A4 #pttravel Hottest was Australia in the low 40s C. Death Valley was almost there. Coldest was probably just below zero. I didn’t care for either.

A4 It's tempting to say the coldest weather I've been in was Alaska, but there have been times in Maryland when the weatherman has said it's colder here than in Alaska. #PTTravel

A4 Part 2. Abu Dhabi in 2015 was pretty hot. We did a F1 circuit tour and the tracke temperature was 62.8C - yes, I touched it just to make sure! Fortunately it cooled down in the evening to cycle around. #PTTravel

A4 #pttravel I think the top of Cairngorm got pretty cold ... but we were well prepared for it. Hottest was Copacabana Beach. Walked for about a mile along the promenade, and stopped at just about every juice stall for a drink and a sit down.

replying to @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie #pttravel A4: coldest? -16ºC, Poland, March 2018.

I may have experienced colder. ovr Christmas 1996, also in Poland, where the diesel froze in the coach, but I have no actual proof ...

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. The coldest weather was once again Syktyvkar, where frost bite was a serious concern. As for heat, I’d have to say Australia. As a sun-intolerant Scot, I even needed a special hat. #PTTravel
