A1 I was 49 last week and often wonder if the type of boozy city breaks we do (although the nights are relatively early) belong more to your 20s. Then I think again and realise that life is too short - just get out there and enjoy yourself #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1: Iāve probably felt too old backpacking when Iām surrounded by those decades younger rather than being told by others. But its all a mindset Iām glad I did it older, it was the right time for me rather than when I was younger with less money #pttravel

But, i mean, not really, aside frim some ppl I've met, locals, in foreign places, who are confused by my agƩd solo travels -- it's so alien to their cultures. "Where is your wife?".

A1 #pttravel The nice thing about #travel is if you have the resources or at least resourceful & can get around, anyone can do it. I had 2 aunts that did it into their 70s. An ex-classmate once told me I didnāt look like the type who would travel the world I told him no 1 asked
