replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A2: I lead a boring personal life. I have no dependents and little social interaction. So the only reason for me to book holiday off from work is to go visiting places. It's a great combo.

replying to @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie #pttravel Also, my travel style is very quick. Because I have a short attention span and a limited series of interests, so very often I spend little time in a place as I don't need to.

So part-time travel works perfectly for me for that!

A2 #pttravel My schedule works so I can have two weeks off about every month & a half for a minimal amount of vacation hours. Typically, I need to keep my trips down to two weeks & that’s how I plan them. It usually works.

replying to @FE_photograph @FE_photograph We might have been there around the same time. I worked on a ship in Melbourne, then sailed to NZ via Tasmania, travelled around for a couple of months, then sailed up to Fiji to explore the islands. Was in NZ during the rugby lions tour. #PTTravel

I think #pttravel gives me a sense of balance in the world, I’m more in awe &surprised cos it provides a diff 2 my wrking life compared w/FTtravel

A2 I like the balance I get from doing travel part time. I get to work (make money) and have good holidays. If I plan it right I can travel regularly and get deals by not going when kids are on holiday. The test will be now that I have a house. Less trips?

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2. I take 4 weeks of leave each year. Two in the summer and two between Christmas and New Years. It works best that way with my job. This is the first year in a long time I won’t be traveling over New Years. :( #pttravel

replying to @JKatzaman @JKatzaman It actually changed my perspective on travel. You can do it in your home town or home region. You don't need to fly. You don't need to be away for 2 weeks. It can be day trips or overnight stays #PTTravel
