replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4 What is balance? 😳 I put £100/mth away for travel (clearly tht pot has been quite untouched this yr) I kinda aim for 1 big long trip a yr of 2-3wks then lots of long wknds around bank hols. Thts the pattern I think I have in my head but its been skewed somewhat lol #pttravel

A4 #pttravel You can save money with loyalty programs, I belong to several. Don’t just check 3rd party apps for rates, check airline & hotel websites for cheaper rates. Also there are places that are inexpensive to visit like Vietnam, you will get your money’s worth.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5 Once the tether of a teen has been removed, we're hoping to have a bit more flexibility of when and where we travel...and for how long. I'd love to see Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam for 2-3 weeks at some point in the not too distant future. #pttravel

A5 #pttravel Japan will probably be a post retirement trip as well as Antarctica just because of the amount of time needed to see them. In the near term, I still want Spain, Egypt, Peru & would like to see parts of the Silk Road & that might be post retirement too.

A2 Part time travel means maximising weekend breaks - home and away to explore and maximising my annual leave. Always worth travelling for a long holiday on the Friday. I usually take 15 days annual leave & a short day on the Fri morn = 22/23 days in destination #pttravel
