replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. Moody skies over Gamle Skudeneshavn in Norway. We sheltered from a couple of autumn storms in the harbour + between working on the ship, walked the wave batteted coastline + went for waffles #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #PTTravel A3: Spring in Japan, my favourite place. but trying to avoid too much of the cherry blossom cliché! 🌸🌸🌸 [2/2]

@kate_frankie A4 Definitely.
Maldives is high season between October and March. We went in April and split the $ of our luxurious resort in half. Same with Greece in October, just after the busy season. It was very warm, but half the people.

A2 It is quite nice to have a bit of sunshine (pic from Capri) just after our clocks go back. When you get back from the trip, it's the run up to Xmas so it stops some of the doldrums setting in #PTTravel

@kate_frankie A4: I find the best deals during the shoulder seasons. Hotels are cheaper, and we always go for prix fixe menus for dinner / picnics for lunch. We also hunt out happy hours etc ;-) #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1: We enjoy travelling in shoulder season: Less expensive, less people, less hit to the bank account:) #pttravel

A3 Madrid and Valencia at Easter 2019 was fab, although the weather was substantially better in Madrid! #pttravel

A1 I usually have a longer trip in autumn (at least a week) but usually only long weekend trips in spring (like to Thessalonki) The number of school holidays means I let my colleagues take that time. Last few years has meant a 7 day+ trip in June instead #PTTravel

@kate_frankie Definitely!
It was our stop on the way to the #Galapagos but we fell in love with #Quito. Lovely people, beautiful place, great food. #PTTravel

A4 I only travel if I can get a deal of some kind - whatever the season. Got a great deal to Dubai at October half term 2018 - direct flights at £350 return plus great value city hotels #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3 Last year I went to #Carcassonne France in autumn #pttravel

Visiting the gorillas in either Uganda or Rwanda is next on my bucket list #PTTravel A5
