replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. Moody skies over Gamle Skudeneshavn in Norway. We sheltered from a couple of autumn storms in the harbour + between working on the ship, walked the wave batteted coastline + went for waffles #PTTravel

Maldives is high season between October and March. We went in April and split the $ of our luxurious resort in half. Same with Greece in October, just after the busy season. It was very warm, but half the people.

A2 It is quite nice to have a bit of sunshine (pic from Capri) just after our clocks go back. When you get back from the trip, it's the run up to Xmas so it stops some of the doldrums setting in #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4: I find the best deals during the shoulder seasons. Hotels are cheaper, and we always go for prix fixe menus for dinner / picnics for lunch. We also hunt out happy hours etc ;-) #PTTravel

A1 I usually have a longer trip in autumn (at least a week) but usually only long weekend trips in spring (like to Thessalonki) The number of school holidays means I let my colleagues take that time. Last few years has meant a 7 day+ trip in June instead #PTTravel

It was our stop on the way to the #Galapagos but we fell in love with #Quito. Lovely people, beautiful place, great food. #PTTravel

A4 I only travel if I can get a deal of some kind - whatever the season. Got a great deal to Dubai at October half term 2018 - direct flights at £350 return plus great value city hotels #pttravel
