Q2 Do you travel to warmer climates or do you enjoy spring/autumnal weather and why? Do you recommend any countries or regions?

RTWBarefoot

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A2: everything is temperate.

West Africa, the Balkans, Australia good for Autumn. I believe Central America is good for Spring.

A2 #pttravel I don’t look for warmer weather. It just works out that way. I like mild weather too. I’ve always said the hottest day I’ve ever experienced was in January when I visited Australia.

A2 #PTTravel It's a mix. I have a slight bias towards places I can just slip on a pair of shorts and a T-shirt, but I'll take anything but grey and miserable.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2: I don't mind the weather. Japan is brilliant in spring but closer to home I love Sweden and Denmark. I'd say spring is great for most European city breaks too. For autumn, you can't beat Munich - cosy beerhalls and beautiful scenery. #PTtravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2 I like flying off for a bit of sunshine when it’s colder and darker in the uk. Mini-trips in the south of Europe are good. Or I’ve visited hot places off season so they’re a bit cooler #pttravel

A2 Late spring or early autumn is best for travel with less liklihood of encountering late- or early season snowstorms. #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2. Not usually. I tend to go to places similar or less temperate rather than chase the sun; Scotland, Norway, Iceland, Newfoundland, Tierra del Fuego. #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2: I do LOVE the sun! Tbh anywhere is often hotter than the UK 😂 I like Europe in Spring. I don’t really go abroad 2seek autumnal weather when its pretty here in Autumn. Only ‘cold’ I tend to do abroad is short Euro weekends away, would struggle with a long cold hol #pttravel

A2 As the dark evenings & mornings are setting in, I realise how much I love sunshine. Not necessarily warm, just bright. I'd take a cool place as long as the sun is shining.
We have travelled to Egypt, Canaries, Balearics and USA as a family in spring
