@kate_frankie #pttravel well you know I'm always active and running about, walking everywhere quickly etc. I was much younger then and not used to how altitude affects the body.
So after two days of doing that in Mexico City my body just kinda went 'nah, don't like this' and stopped. Lol.

I suppose when I walked coast to coast across Scotland + didn't anticipate so much sun. Needed to stop to buy sunblock + a pair of shorts #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2 in Alaska, one camera broke, another memory card was lost. Sometimes the outdoors and technology just don't mix! We don't have any photos from ice climbing and almost all of of other excursions which is a bit of a shame! #PTTravel

A2 #PTTravel Just the strap on my sandal. A nearby stallholder GAVE me some flip-flops! And, there was my wife's suitcase handle. Guess who had to carry it till we got to the hotel, and I could 'Macgyver' a repair!

I nearly lost my passport/money in a coat once for that reason. lol.

A2 I broke my camera at the end of a year living & working in Australia. Sand damaged it and couldn't be fixed. I had most photos and backed a lot up. Some memories from the last month or so are undocumented but that wasn't too bad
