A3 I got fine around £50 in Budapest for not punching my underground ticket. I bought a single and was going from one station back to my apartment and read signs. Nothing to say you would be fined if you didn't. They have volunteers that stop you with no souls

That said, there's only literally two things I *need* to travel - money and passport - and I check those constantly. Everything else is repurchaseable.

A4 #pttravel I once. forgot a camera & had no time to go back. I bought a pocket camera in the airport & I’m sure I overpaid. Looking back I should have just taken the light rail to the Best Buy down the street, but didn’t want to deal with going through security again.

A4 #PTTravel I did forget my watch once. I bought a cheap digital one at a market stall (about £2 if I remember right) and it was still running when the battery ran out 3 years later.

well, there's the mysterious broken foot mentioned earlier. Lots of broken toes in general travel/everyday life.
Of course there was the ripped toenail, mild stove burn, & knife-ripped thumb on my Hike last year.
Don't give me sharp, hot, or hard objects.

A5 #pttravel In South Africa I was crossing a street & rushed to get out of the way of a car. I did something to my knee that made the next two days quite sore. Thankfully we were near the end of the trip & I didn’t have to do a lot of walking.

A5 I got a UTI in Uruguay last year. I had to go to the hospital to get antibiotics, and the doctor was so excited to meet someone from Canada that all he wanted to do was talk about some random Canadian indie band I'd never heard of. Also he charged me $300. #PTTravel
