Q6 What advice do you have for travellers trying to avoid misadventures?

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A5: oh! I got a piece of glass stuck in my foot in Antwerp. No biggie though - this is why I carry tweezers everywhere. A bit of dabbing with a handkerchief, some strong alcohol, right as rain in ten minutes.

A6 #pttravel I’m not sure if I can offer anything. Making mistakes is part of learning to travel. The nice thing is the more you travel, you tend to make fewer mistakes.

A6 - Don't leave home without enough money (and travel insurance) to get out of a dangerous or uncomfortable situation. Delay your departure until you have enough flexibility in your budget to deal with problems that arise. #PTTravel

A5 Luckily right at the end of a trip, I stumbled on two small steps and ended up in a boot for 12 weeks. Lateral ligament damage took ages to heal and still acts up now
