replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Hi everyone. Had a nice 5 mile walk today with Mrs L. 14th February hasn't been the same big V thing for us since 2003 when she was induced and spent the next 36 hours in labour with TC - 18 tomorrow. #pttravel

It's now raining. Hopefully the snow will disappear spon ...

Hello from Oregon where the region has a strange winter storm over it. I’m on the coast where it’s raining & 40F. Go 50 miles East & it’s 30F with a foot of snow with freezing rain imminent. #pttravel

Hi all, been working on a new photography website all weekend! Hard work! #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Evening all. I’m joining from snowy (and increasingly icy) Scotland. #PTTravel

Q1 Tell us about 3 places in your home country, state or region that you love and why

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Hello from Aberdeen, where after the big chill + fabulous snow in the week, it's turned icy + miserable outside. Hope you've all had a lovely day #PTTravel

RT @Txiki_Tales: @kate_frankie Hi everyone. Had a nice 5 mile walk today with Mrs L. 14th February hasn't been the same big V thing for us…

A1 Being relatively chose by, for history buffs, Washington, D.C., Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and Philadelphia are inviting for -- in some cases -- multiple day trips. #PTTravel

@kate_frankie #PTTravel 3 places.
The glaciers of Alaska
The beaches of Hawaii
and the mountains of Colorado
Do I have to say why ??

@kate_frankie #pttravel A1: I don't think i can answer that. Everywhere is lovely. For different reasons.
But I'll always be attracted to parts of the Peak District, in England.

A1 I'd choose, Liverpool as a city (home town), Saltburn for the coast, and Knaresborough as our favourite local town. #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. Our national parks, Washington DC, and the beaches of California. #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1 Anywhere in my Colorado Rocky Mountains, especially in fall' because it is my happy place. The Everglades in Florida because it is such a crazy ecosystem. Glacier NP for it's outstanding landscapes. #PTTravel

A1 where I live - Liverpool. It has an identity different to the rest of the country and history (12th century) Glasgow - a great weekend with lots of history too and finally Portmerion - Italy in Wales #PTTravel

A1 #pttravel First, I really enjoy the coast, so much I decided to retire here. It’s good for my allergies. I also like the beauty of the Cascade Mtns & their beauty. Then I pick Central Oregon & the Bend/Redmond area. Bend was a town of 5000 40 years ago, 90000 today.

A1 #pttravel Lake District: I'm from there. Yorkshire Dales: Within an hours' drive for most of my working life. Snowdonia: When I worked on Anglesey, I could see it from my office window. Couldn't get there as often as I would have liked

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1: Mountains, forests and seas. Having grown up climbing mountains, wandering forests, sailing seas, I had no choice but to love Mother Nature (still do.) #pttravel

replying to @bigfatheadz @bigfatheadz #pttravel Loved Portmeirion. Especially as our visit coincided with 'The Prisoner' Festival!

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. It's hard to narrow it down to just three places in Scotland, but my top would include the wild, high country of the Cairngorms, the spectacular waters around the islands of Coll + Tiree, and the far north west highlands where all my childhood holidays were spent #PTTravel

replying to @NomadKeith @NomadKeith @bigfatheadz my mother & stepdad used to go to Portmeirion every year for holidays for maybe a decade or two, but they stopped when they felt it was becoming too commercialised lol #pttravel

A1 Northumberland has to be in here for the stretches of beach, old castles and ruins plus memories from childhood. Lake District is beautiful and I have a real love for it. A few places in Scotland also - Edinburgh for fun and city breaks, Skye for nature
