A1 This was taken on a practice hike for the marathon long walk we were doing for charity later in the summer. It went along a glorious stretch of coast between Alnwick and Bamburgh.
I've had many short breaks in Northumberland and can't wait to get back there
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie 2007 was the last time we were in that neck of the woods! #pttravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Good evening from Aberdeen. It's been lovely here the last few days, feeling like spring really is on its way. #PTTravel

This beach may look tropical but the penguins give it away as the Falklands - the beach was mined in the 1980s and has only just been cleared so they've had it to themselves #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. It was an impromptu walk from my front door to Carnoustie (roughly seven miles) that started it all for me. Prior to that, I was too poor to travel far and didn’t think my area had anything to offer. #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. I spent a lot of last summer visiting the most beautiful places around my region as a ranger, then went on a campervan holiday tour of almost all the same places for my holiday. It's so nice round here that I don't mind that I've not really travelled anywhere. #PTTravel
Macau is a beautiful city but it does have an ugly tower at its heart - if only these canons were functioning #PTTravel A3
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A3: Ouagadougou. Rush Hour (about 5pm). A man guides his goats (are they goats?) down one of the main streets in the city. Because this is perfectly normal here; you gotta make a living somehow.
