A3 #pttravel I have very few pictures of green things, but this may qualify. This is a picture of a hydrogen powered car in the BMW Museum in Munich. I look forward to the day hydrogen is finally perfected.

A3 #pttravel I think it has to be Iceland. Geothermal energy, a robust tree-planting programme ( most houses are made of wood.

A3 This is one of the main intersections in Bilbao. There are very rarely traffic jams as it is such a walking-friendly city and the integrated public transport is clean, dependable and cheap. #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. I went to an “eco cafe” in the Great Glen once. They had planned to use spring water but couldn’t get permission, so had resorted to using bottled Evian instead. #PTTravel

A3 Scandinavian countries have been pretty good for sustainable practices. Norway and Iceland were building in renewable energy years ago.
An honourable mention to Northumberland for great sustainability/eco-friendly places, including dark sky park

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. Sometimes the small things can make a big difference, compostable single use items, recyclable cardboard rather than plastic or foam for takeaway things + the right bins to make it easy for customers. Like my cake + coffee from @CourieCourie bakery at Cambus o'May #PTTravel
