replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Hi everyone. Had a lovely walk at Fewston & Swinsty Reservoirs near Harrogate today. #pttravel
Hello from Seaside, Oregon. This weekend it’s Seaside’s turn to host Soccer in the Sand a National youth tournament that moves from city to city this time of year. #pttravel

Its been a good weekend here. Going to the pub with my dad and others for the final later. Had some time with this smiler which was lovely
A1 I don’t think that our travels are particularly sustainable. We will do our best where we can, such as choosing to walk wherever possible, but that’s only a small concession given our love for short city breaks. #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. I’m much better about it at home than on vacation. #pttravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A1: no. I oft visit places with, for example, non-potable water supplies. So as I keep losing my filter bottles, the only option is to do what the locals do and drink water from plastic bottles or sachets, for instance.

A1 #pttravel I really try! Four separate refuse bins at home; try to take reuseable stuff with me & try to avoid the non-bio degradeable, one-use stuff, but don't always succeed.
A1 Having humble needs, sustaining is fairly easy at home or away. Less concerns frees time to do more of what you want to do. #PTtravel
A1 #pttravel I’ll answer in 2 parts. First, my home its gas heat, but this house takes in a lot of heat from the sun even in the winter & it hold the heat. I think that’s a benefit of it being only a couple of years old. It’s well insulated, so it tends to be more efficient.
replying to @ASingleStepBlog @ASingleStepBlog @kate_frankie @Staropramen Moved on to Spain and @SanMiguel_UK - a few more countries to come! #pttravel
replying to @Txiki_Tales @Txiki_Tales I'm even worse with my work being long haul a few times per year. I try to make sure I do other things to be as sustainable as possible. Its not easy balancing it & wanting to explore #PTTravel

A1 #pttravel Transportation, I have a hybrid plug in car & I know some don’t think that’s green at all, but I think it’s more green than putting the biggest SUV on the road. This weekend, I’m just walking. It’s good for the earth & me & it doesn’t cost anything.

A1 I think I'm quite sustainable at home, even not eating meat now but I do usually travel several times per year. That's the hard part. I try to take reusable bottle/cup with me & do trains or buses in country. It isn't easy

A1: At home we try to be as sustainable as possible with just little changes. Metal straws, less plastic etc. Though I can definitely be more sustainable when travelling. I unfortunately usually opting to fly/drive to places due to time constraints with work etc.

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie #pttravel In India, our coach contained a coolbox where we could help ourselves to bottled water, but the guide said he would see to it that the bottles were disposed of properly & recycled.

A2 Never really considered it to be honest, or at least particularly sought it as an option. #pttravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. I’d say I’m fairly sustainable. I don’t have a car and walk where possible, I volunteer at my local nature reserve and travel economy. I could use a lot less plastic, though. #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Good evening from Aberdeenshire. It's currently the weird sunny showery sultry weather when you know a thunderstorm is on the way, but it's taking its own sweet time to roll over the hills. #PTTravel
replying to @Txiki_Tales @Txiki_Tales It was when I realised they had been running around, serving at 120+mph for 3 hours. That's just showing off #PTTravel

A2 #pttravel I can't say I've been anywhere that advertised itself as 'eco-friendly', but I have noticed little touches eg dispensers for toiletries instead of mini sachets. wooden spoons etc.
replying to @findinganeish @findinganeish Travelling economy is something I always do with flights. I'm glad that I've stuck to that even with work where it is technically possible to go business. Its great you volunteer. What kind of work do you do there? #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. I use public transport or walk where it's a possibility + try to shop + eat to support local businesses. But there's always a few more things I could do #PTTravel
