As for Nespresso ... yuk! I'd rather take my own jar of Gold Blend!

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Yeah. I admittedly don’t have the choice, but I’ve never chased upgrades and am happy staying in hostels. I do a range of things: butterfly counts, planting, weeding and repairs. #PTTravel

A3 Scandinavian countries have been pretty good for sustainable practices. Norway and Iceland were building in renewable energy years ago.
An honourable mention to Northumberland for great sustainability/eco-friendly places, including dark sky park

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. Sometimes the small things can make a big difference, compostable single use items, recyclable cardboard rather than plastic or foam for takeaway things + the right bins to make it easy for customers. A5 I'm conflicted. I want to think I'm doing as much as I can but some places are not invested in sustainability. For work, I'd really struggle and actually for leisure, I would still visit.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5. I wouldn’t travel to resorts or take cruises whether they claimed to be eco-friendly or not, and I’m not sure it would be fair to boycott a country because of policy or business practices.
