replying to @JKatzaman @JKatzaman That was my grandfather. He was the Protestant in all of the Catholics and his uncle didn't speak to him for 20 years after marrying my grandmother. Its a shame when it pushes people apart. Hopefully yours was a more positive experience #PTTravel

A6 #pttravel Cape Town, South Africa had an end of summer parade that went by the hotel I was staying in. It reminded me of Portland’s Rose Festival parade they do in June.


A6 When we were in Belgium for a year, we learned the meaning of Belgian holidays. It seemed there was always a feast day to celebrate with a parade. I'd never seen oranges thrown before or since. #PTTravel
