replying to @aok_NW @aok_NW Buddhism actually reignited a bit of spirituality in me. It was my trip across China and Tibet where I visited many temples and monasteries. It is such a peaceful, mindful way of life #PTTravel

RT @JKatzaman: A5 Being the token Protestant in the family, it's been an interesting few decades spectating at Catholic rituals. #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel Not really ... it was only afterwards one of the guides said if we'd taken the other path, we'd have been on sacred ground.

A6 #pttravel Cape Town, South Africa had an end of summer parade that went by the hotel I was staying in. It reminded me of Portland’s Rose Festival parade they do in June.

A6 When we were in Belgium for a year, we learned the meaning of Belgian holidays. It seemed there was always a feast day to celebrate with a parade. I'd never seen oranges thrown before or since. #PTTravel

replying to @lethers @lethers @kate_frankie @aok_NW #pttravel Right indeed! I believe, when you get down to basics, all these religions worship the same God, in their own way'
