replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Hi folks. Joining #PTTravel from North Yorkshire after a stroll around Harrogate and Wetherby. Can you spot the flying or at least leaping fish?

I've been out and about in Newcastle-upon-Tyne for the markets earlier. A bit damp but nice to walk around

Hello from Oregon. I took some video of this little guy who stood there & put on a show for me. #pttravel

A1 #pttravel I don’t have a lot of bird pictures, although I found a few things such as this African Fish Eagle I saw looking at the hippos in South Africa.

A1 I do like the challenge of trying to capture butterflies - not the easiest as they’re always on the move. #pttravel

A1 it was resting a couple months ago, but I'll attest this cicada could fly -- although, not for long. #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. I’m a bit of a birder, so lots it really the only answer I can give. #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1 I loved seeing Albatross in NZ, Turns in Antarctica, and I have to give penguins an honourable mention naturally! #pttravel 🐧

A1 #PTTravel Australian bustards; apparently very rare. We thought they were emus, till a couple took flight. Not very good picture; the guide was braking frantically. I think he'd be in trouble if he hit one!

#PTTravel These birds live permanently in my backyard in #Florida, but we also have real egrets and sandhill cranes.

Great city to visit! RT @TravelAtWill: Copenhagen was a great spot to visit ! https://t.co/bZ7W5VhT0y So much to see and do in this water city. #PTTravel

New Zealand is full of unique wildlife encounters like this gannet colony #PTTravel A1

A1 We watched these Jabiru in the Pantanal for about an hour as the adults were teaching the baby to fly #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1: Me and my husband are keen bird observers, also when travelling. The most fascinating so far has been a Tui in Queenstown, NZ. We wondered who's singing so beautifully and noticed him in the middle green. #PTTravel
