Q1 What kind of birds or other species that can fly have you seen on your travels? Tell us any stories
A1 #pttravel I don’t have a lot of bird pictures, although I found a few things such as this African Fish Eagle I saw looking at the hippos in South Africa.
A1 I do like the challenge of trying to capture butterflies - not the easiest as they’re always on the move. #pttravel

A1 #PTTravel Australian bustards; apparently very rare. We thought they were emus, till a couple took flight. Not very good picture; the guide was braking frantically. I think he'd be in trouble if he hit one!

A1 Seeing a beautiful big albatross flying beside our ship in the Drake passage was a great moment. I do have a photo somewhere!
I also have a vivid memory of condors circling in Peru. It was the Colca Canyon and it was clear and sunny. They were effortless
