I am at home and have had a two week break from work. Mainly spent with new baby nephew who can now grab hair.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Hi everyone on #pttravel - had a pleasant walk around Knaresborough & Harrogate today. Usual queues at Betty’s - never been and to be honest, never understood all the hype.
A1 #PTTravel When I was in Africa, the only big animal that eluded us was the lion. We got into Kruger early enough, but it warmed up too early & they went into the bush. The only thing I got were pictures of their tracks.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Good evening from the Lake District. Spent the morning pottering around in Keswick which is packed full for #keswickmountainfestival, then took a drive over to beautiful Buttermere for the afternoon #PTTravel

A1 I'd love to see a polar bear in the wild. Might not have a lot of time to do that now
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. I would very much like to see a polar bear. I'd love to get up to Svalbard on a sailing voyage, or into the Northwest Passage across Arctic Canada #PTTravel
A2 #PTTravel There’s the local elk herd. They were seen down at Cannon Beach Friday. I took this one of bighorn sheep at @MountRushmoreNM. I was surprised how close I could get. I also have pics of bison @YellowstoneNPS, but couldn’t find the pictures.
A2 #pttravel I tried to find some pictures of draught horses. Couldn't put my hand on them, so this will have to do
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2. Red deer are as big as you’re going to get in Scotland. #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie @NomadKeith I’ve seen a few big lizards, particularly in Asia, but nothing as large as a Komodo Dragon. #pttravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2 American bison in @CusterStatePark @southdakota #travel #funness #pttravel
replying to @Txiki_Tales @Txiki_Tales This champ greeted us at the end of a walk in the hills #Cows #PTTravel
