Q3 Have you ever had an experience with a big land animal that was memorable/unusual and why?

A3 #pttravel Dutch/German border. I was out for my run in the woods, and came across a wild boar. Fortunately, he was intent on his own business ... but I still didn't stick around to take photographs!

A3 #PTTravel About 30 years ago, I was out on my property & got the feeling I was being watched. I looked up the hill & saw something looking at me. I realized it was a cat & walked toward it. It stood up & walked away & I realized it was a lynx. The only time I saw one.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. I did a walking safari in Mole National Park in Ghana. We spotted hippos, warthogs, baboons, monkeys, bushbuck + a couple of enormous elephants that just melted away into the forest. I was an incredible experience #PTTravel

#pttravel A3: once got chased by a massive wild boar in Andalucia and had to leap a fence like a prime gold medal high jumper. It was the noise it made that was most terrifying 🤣

A3 I got chased by sheep as a 2/3 year old on holiday camping. Apparently terrified for a while. I also came up close with a big kangaroo which was not quite the Skippy encounter I thought it would be!
