Q5 Which country or region would you recommend to other travellers who would like to experience big land animals in their natural habitats?

A5 #PTTravel Go to Africa. Aside from lions, I saw pretty much every big animal there is native to that part of the world.

A5 #pttravel From personal experience, I'd say Kenya. Australia is pretty good, but you'd have to range far and wide to see stuff in the wild. But, most major cities have a 'reserve' within a bus ride, where they keep animals in something like their natural environment.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5: NYC, USA. Saw, met quite a few different types of large critters (rats, racoons, etc..) while wandering for a few weeks ;-) #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5. I’d love to do some exploring in Canada, looking for moose, elk, bison and buffalo. I’d also love to see a wild ibex in the Swiss Alps. #PTTravel
