Q3 Have you ever had an experience with a big land animal that was memorable/unusual and why?

RT @Txiki_Tales: A2 Here’s some cows. Two are more real than the other one. #PTTravel https://t.co/99AC4gp49O
replying to @Morology @Morology @kate_frankie #pttravel Sadly, our trip to Borneo last year was cancelled (for the usual reason). We've seen them at Monkeyworld, but it's not the same!
replying to @Txiki_Tales @Txiki_Tales Love it! Plenty of cows in the fields in the UK #PTTravel
replying to @NomadKeith @NomadKeith @Morology @kate_frankie This was Borneo back in 2008 😉 #pttravel

Some interesting stops in Spain when we cruised along the western coast of Europe ... https://t.co/6b0wl3Y7eG ... Bilbao and stops on the coast of Galacia. #PTTravel @spain @TurismoSpain @MuseoGuggenheim @TurismoGalicia1
A3 #pttravel Dutch/German border. I was out for my run in the woods, and came across a wild boar. Fortunately, he was intent on his own business ... but I still didn't stick around to take photographs!
replying to @vickyinglis13 @kate_frankie A2. Can you spot our reindeer? There's a couple of herds roaming in the Cairngorms. Sometimes they'll come over to say hello while you're walking #PTTravel
A3 #PTTravel About 30 years ago, I was out on my property & got the feeling I was being watched. I looked up the hill & saw something looking at me. I realized it was a cat & walked toward it. It stood up & walked away & I realized it was a lynx. The only time I saw one.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3: Yup, and decided that climbing to the peak of his mountain wasn't really all that important after all. #pttravel
RT @Txiki_Tales: @NomadKeith @Morology @kate_frankie This was Borneo back in 2008 😉 #pttravel https://t.co/Qk9zictbig
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. My mum was attacked by a kangaroo once. I can’t really top that. #PTTravel
replying to @NomadKeith @NomadKeith @kate_frankie Looked for them when I was wandering Sumatra an age ago, no luck. Complained to a local while waiting for a boat off island. They probably saw you, he replied ツ #pttravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. I did a walking safari in Mole National Park in Ghana. We spotted hippos, warthogs, baboons, monkeys, bushbuck + a couple of enormous elephants that just melted away into the forest. I was an incredible experience #PTTravel
replying to @Txiki_Tales Plus this bigger that woke us up at 5am each morning doing a jig on our pod roof. #pttravel
#pttravel A3: once got chased by a massive wild boar in Andalucia and had to leap a fence like a prime gold medal high jumper. It was the noise it made that was most terrifying 🤣

RT @findinganeish: @kate_frankie A1. I’d love to one day see (and photograph) bison at Grand Teton National Park. #PTTravel

A4: Probably wouldn’t do this these days as it’s cruel, but back in 1995 thought nothing of riding an elephant. Look closely though - the elephant seemed to be very excited about the whole thing 😳. #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie @MountRushmoreNM @YellowstoneNPS That’s exactly what they do. Cannon Beach seems to be one of their favorite places to hang out. I’ve seen them laying down at the main exit off the highway. I wish I had pics of that. #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. Really not that many, to be honest. At least not in the wild. Birds and rodents are more my speciality. #PTTravel
