A3 #PTTravel Mount Osorno, in Chile, I think it's best admired from afar, for its symmetry.

replying to @vickyinglis13 @kate_frankie A2. But I did get a glimpse of Mount Français, the highest peak on the Antarctic peninsula at 2760 metres, pink with alpenglow from our living room window. (This isn't Français behind the Base A building, this is Mount William at the south end of Anvers Island). #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. I had a wee holiday to the Lake District just last week, and took on Hellvelyn, up Striding Edge and over Swirral Edge to Catstyecam. #PTTravel

A3 I used to do much more climbing and hiking when I was in my 20s. In cold, hot, wet or dry weather. Europe, Asia, Latin America and New Zealand. Got some amazing views and memories

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3: The most memorable hike was in Aoraki, NZ. Very hard but very enjoyable too. I had nice companion and our guide was super. I felt really bad when I heard he died in an avalanche some years later. #PTTravel

A6 #PTTravel Taking your boots off, and getting on the outside of a pint of bitter afterwards. And, maybe, a pie and pea supper?
