A2 #pttravel Not really ... although my friend Andy did once host a Thanksgiving dinner to give thanks for getting rid of the Pilgrim Fathers.

A2 I'd stick with my country, which had the original Thanksgiving. Although going to Canada would give me a month's head start. #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2 I don’t know much about Thanksgiving except it is considered problematic now. However I like the idea of thankfulness (I try to practice this everyday). I show friends & family love at xmas so don’t understand also doing it a month before xmas?! #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2. I taught at an English language institute in Russia back in 2012 and it’s the only time I ever remember explicitly giving thanks. My predecessor’s predecessor had been from South Carolina and the custom had stuck. #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2: Asia/SE Asia, few thanks type celebrations Cars were dressed up dogs ducks tractors etc. Then there is the daily thankfulness of abundance where one would put out bits of rice and whatever one is cooking on a palm leaf left outside for insects, critters to enjoy. #pttravel

A2 I wish I could find the photos! I experienced Thanksgiving when I lived & worked in Peru. An American girl from New Jersey lived in the same house so we celebrated. Still online friends now, 15 years later ❤😊
