A1 #pttravel I’m interested in the idea. I have not yet seen Alaska & thought that trip will be taken in the summer. The longest day I’ve probably seen was in Paris where the sun goes down at 10 PM. This was the Eiffel Tower at sunset.

A1 I have been in Antarctica where it was twilight during summer but not pitch black. I've also done Iceland in winter which felt like very short days.
I love sun, not necessarily heat but I need darkness to sleep well.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie yeh, is why i sellotaped several sheets of black card and stuck them over the window above the front door of this flat because the stairwell light shines overnight and brings a lot of light in otherwise. This is no mean feat for me given the height of the ceilings. #pttravel
