Q1 Have you travelled/would you travel to anywhere with almost 24 hours of sunshine on trips and why/why not?
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A1: ... I mean, sometimes in Scotland it feels like it, given when the sun rises and sets in midsummer, but, perhaps surprisingly, I'm not overly fond of hot weather.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1: Yup, and would again. Because it is there. #pttravel

A1 #PTTravel Certainly have! Couple of years ago, we took a cruise which circumnavigated Iceland. This pic was taken at 11.30 pm on the 20th June, just a tad below the Arctic Circle
A1 My glow after just a couple of days under blue skies and a warming golden orb says a healthy yes. It’s felt really good for the body and the mind. #PTTravel
A1 #pttravel I’m interested in the idea. I have not yet seen Alaska & thought that trip will be taken in the summer. The longest day I’ve probably seen was in Paris where the sun goes down at 10 PM. This was the Eiffel Tower at sunset.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1: Heck yes! I LOVE the sunshine! I'd love to visit those northern reaches where you get more daylight. Although we get pretty amazing long days here in France :-) #PTTravel
A1 Traveling to see almost 24-hour sunshine would mean going north of the Arctic Circle, which would be good to say you did it, although I suspect the Bermuda shorts wouldn't make the trip. #PTTravel
A1 Not for that purpose specifically. but it's happens from time to time. The picture was taken in Latvia 3 years ago after 11pm #PTTravel

A1 I have been in Antarctica where it was twilight during summer but not pitch black. I've also done Iceland in winter which felt like very short days.
I love sun, not necessarily heat but I need darkness to sleep well.
I'd still do both again

A1- Northern Japan has long summer days. I liked the sun being out until 2200. The sun coming up before 0400 is a different story
