Optimise short breaks
PTTravel

RT @NomadKeith: A2 #pttravel Many of our short breaks come at the drop of a hat, usually after seeing a tasty deal in the paper.

A2: I try to take a short trip at least every couple months. Even if it’s just a long weekend at the beach or mountains. #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie I was actually abroad when the rules changed over night and we were given 4 days to return. I chose to continue my trip and pay extra on my return. It shouldn't be like this though. #PTTravel

A2 This year, I will be breaking up my time with short trips. Even a night away. I haven't planned anything because it is changing so much.
I used to love a spontaneous short break. Maybe it will happen again soon

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie @OanaRoua #pttravel I agree! From the outset, it should have been Government controlled and price capped!

A3 #pttravel I loved hillwalking, and, when I lived in Yorkshire, I was away most weekends; Pennines and Lake District, usually.

RT @RTWBarefoot: #pttravel A3: I climb hills. This is Winter Hill. Taken in Spring. But still misty. https://t.co/rJZ4dh9Nta

#pttravel A3: I took a long weekend to visit friends who used to live in Wallsend, NE England. That was cool to explore the surrounds.

So much great travel in 2021 ..... https://t.co/pSr8RYAYNK It kept us busy on local adventures, long road trips and even one cruise in 2021! #PTTravel

replying to @paulpassingthru @paulpassingthru Fingers crossed. I saw a report about the positive impact on the trial in Iceland. It should be a reality. I'm sure we waste at least a day each week at work anyway #PTTravel

replying to @OanaRoua @OanaRoua @kate_frankie #pttravel We got 'caught' in Portugal September 2020. We decided no sweat to go into quarantine for a couple of weeks when we got back ... and, after the 'mass exodus', just about had the place to ourselves

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3 The Cotswolds are a good one from here. I love their model village #pttravel

replying to @Travelnpack @Travelnpack The restrictions, and especially extra costs (PCR, less deals) make it harder. I did have a good two night break in Scotland last year and I'm trying to do more this year. I'll let everyone know how it goes #PTTravel
