A1 Yes, I usually like to break up my winter with a couple of trips. One over NYE and another to get some sun/warmth before spring starts at home. Day trips at home or overnight stays are also good to get through winter.

Many lifetimes ago I was in Poland for Christmas, which was ... cold. And then in March 2018, during a bit of a cold snap, I was again in Poland, reaching as low as 1°F.

A3 #pttravel I thought about Dubai for this past New Years, but when it looked like COVID wasn’t going away, I decided against it. I still want to do it. I have done places like Hawaii & Australia this time of year.

replying to @1Dad1Kid @1Dad1Kid It was great when I went. Book Northern Lights tours well in advance. Its also extremely popular to go to the blue lagoon geothermal pools. I couldn't get booked and tried weeks before #PTTravel
