Remember that some places have different opening times in Winter or may be closed completely. This includes entire towns (relatively speaking).

A6 Clothing can make a big difference. Layering is usually your best friend. Don't let the weather keep you indoors (unless it's dangerous) #PTTravel

A6 #pttravel If you plan to travel, know what you’re getting into. Here we have https://t.co/keDPpA834A. We can look at cameras to see if roads are passable. I’d also monitor the weather to see if snow is coming. You can get yourself into a lot of trouble if you don’t prepare

A6 When traveling in winter, have a good idea of what you're getting into. Then if you still really need to go, have snacks in your car and a full tank of gas. Last week a snowstorm led to a many-miles-long traffic jam on I-95 that left people stuck for up to 27 hours. #PTTravel
