A2 #pttravel I have seen quite a few botanical gardens around the world. It seems like any former British colony has one to offer. This is Singapore’s garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A2 San Antonio, Texas, has a Japanese tea garden with ponds of huge carp. My wife is obsessed by fish, but in a different way. I said, "Look at the pretty fish." She said, "Where's my frying pan?" #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2. I do, such as this one in Zürich, though for green spaces I tend to favour nature reserves, country parks and cemeteries. Botanic gardens can sometimes be quite formal. #PTTravel

A2 I love them at home and overseas.
These photos are from Alnwick Gardens in Northumberland. If you're ever in North East England, its a great place to visit.

The colorful blooms…the rustle of wind through the branches …the sweet fragrance in the air… If you’re feeling restless and eager for a change of scenery, consider an outing to botanical garden, a relatively safe refuge during this pandemic
