I loved Singapore botanic parcs for the human knowledge and skills put into building and preserving nature at the same time.

A6 #PTTravel Buy a street plan as soon as you can. It's a good way to discover hidden treasures off the tourist beat.

A6 #pttravel I guess the standard answer. Where ever you’re going, go online & see what parks & gardens are in the area. Where are they. See if there’s a website & if you can buy tickets ahead of time, that’s something to consider.

The colorful blooms…the rustle of wind through the branches …the sweet fragrance in the air… If you’re feeling restless and eager for a change of scenery, consider an outing to botanical garden, a relatively safe refuge during this pandemic

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie I lived in the middle of a penguin colony, which smelled exactly as you might think. But it's got a very cold, crisp, oceanic smell where we were. I suspect there's a different smell further into the continent #PTTravel

Get out to parks and gardens because they are wonderful and therapeutic. Give a donation if you can. Leave no litter and follow rules. Be careful of Redwood roots for example so that other generations can enjoy them
