@kate_frankie #pttravel A5: West Africa taught me that people, on the whole, do look ot for you and won't let you be stuck.
This also includes a general subset of: "don't worry, the bus will always arrive at your destination."
A5: Our trip to America’s Southwest comes to mind. All the natural beauty was so impressive. I’ve always liked nature but that trip really changed things for me. It also sparked me to start blogging and doing more writing. #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A5: Travelling Europe in 2019 made me realise that some places are more exciting than others, and some places I will probably never feel the need to visit again.
For me #Oxford is the city where you can learn even if you aren't a student. So many of the colleges are tied up with key events in British and world history be it the civil war, dissolution or covid vax #PTTravel A5

A5 #pttravel Vietnam is still considered to be a poor backwater by many in the US. Some people were horrified I went over there. I told people it’s not the country it was 50 years ago or even 20 years ago. Today, it very middle class & modern. Watch the misinformation out there
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5. Living in Germany at the turn of the millennium really taught me the value of the Schengen Area and transnationalism more generally. Borderless travel has to be the future. #PTTravel
