@kate_frankie #pttravel A4: pros: you see more. You experience more. It's more value for money/resource especially if you're going a long way. You might never go that way again.
cons: it can get exhausting.
RT @aok_NW: A4 #pttravel If your one who wants to relax, you won’t do that with multi destinations. I live 2 miles from an ocean beach, so…

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. Travel is so seamless in Switzerland that intercity transit is pretty much part of the experience. Recently I’ve done Basel/Bern/Zürich/Lucerne and Geneva/Bern/Interlaken. #PTTravel

@kate_frankie Temperatures currently in the low-mid teens, mostly sunny intervals with limited amount of rain. So yes.
I expected it to be colder right now, but apparently not.

A3 An extensive trip around Egypt, Turkey and Greece… although outstanding it was quite exhausting at the end #PTTravel
A4
Visiting more than one place and enjoying more experiences than I would by remaining in one location for the duration of the trip is rewarding for me, nevertheless, the cost, delayed flights or missing my connection or lost luggage or travel documents are some cons

replying to @dgtlwriter @dgtlwriter @kate_frankie hehe. I tend to travel only with hand luggage which is really useful if you're doing many places on the one trip and the bus from one leaves at 6.28am ... ! #pttravel
#PTTravel Sorry ... Twitter just went hinky on me & I had to step away and refresh. Did I miss anything?
replying to @kate_frankie
@kate_frankie Pros: It’s just amazing to see more, change languages, culture, food on a “daily basis or so” - Cons: depending on the length of your stay on each place, it can get exhausting unless you are doing a Cruise!

A4 Pros - See more, variety, excitement, probably slightly more sustainable to do more in a region in one trip and could get good deals on domestic travel.
Cons - organising and booking is complex, anything goes off schedule it can get annoying/expensive, tiring
replying to @findinganeish @findinganeish @kate_frankie I pottered around New England on an Amtrak ticket once; great being able to wander through the US History places quite easily. #PTTravel

@RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie This is my dream; I'm rather more like both Hansel AND Gretl, always leaving something behind in a hotel room.

A4 #PTTravel Multi destination can be enjoyable if you avoid the more hectic 'If this is Tuesday, this must be Brussels' kind of coach tour. However, staying in one spot does let you unpack just once, and maybe wash a few knicks and socks out.
A5 #pttravel It’s nice, you can do almost everything online these days. Vietnam was planned completely online including the visa. I spent 4 days in each place & would fly to the next place. Their national airline was great to fly in. It was all planned before I arrived.
replying to @dgtlwriter
@dgtlwriter @kate_frankie I mean, ngl I have the attention and observational skills of a dead gnat, and I'm always likely to be leaving something. Usually a water bottle but hats, coats, and electrical leads have been left before now.

@kate_frankie #pttravel A5: the only thing I tend to worry about in advance is visas. Some places don't need me to get a visa, some do, some allow me to get them at the border. It's a question of checking which is which.
The rest is pretty much the same for me wherever I go.
replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot I find I have to because I don't have the time I had when I was backpacking. Do you have any issues with not organising/booking before? #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel rarely. I mean it's been known to happen, that I can't get a room when I arrive in a place, but it's very rare. The most common issue I have is (last-minute) transportation from a to b being overly expensive; this is more of an issue in the UK than anywhere else.

Q6 What tips do you have for travellers on taking a trip with more than one destination?
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. It can be frustrating if you’ve tried to cram too much in. One of the reasons I prefer public transport to road trips is that it forces you to be economical with your time and keeps pointless detours and pitstops to a minimum. #PTTravel
