I'm joining from North East England.
I've had a good weekend, babysitting on Friday night into Saturday.
Today has been prep for an interview I have on Wednesday. Fingers crossed!

@kate_frankie A1 I absolutely loved both Machu Picchu as a huge development of buildings, and the Angkor temples in Cambodia.
I also enjoyed visiting churches in Italy as they were so ornate #pttravel
A1 #PTTravel Didn't have to travel far for this one. The Odeon cinema in Salisbury. We think it's the only cinema in a mediaeval building in the country.

@kate_frankie #pttravel a1 History is one of the main reasons i travel. And many historical buildings are now museums or some such, telling you about their history, & also the history of those around at the time.
Think of everything from old factories in England to Slave Trade forts in Ghana.
A1 #pttravel I like to see historic buildings that had some kind of historic event or person associated with it. Pictured, Robben Island, South Africa where they held Nelson Mandela.
A1 I’m fond of castles and churches. The Alhambra in Granada (rather than the Bradford one) is a real gem. I actually prefer looking at them than spending money looking in them. #pttravel

replying to @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie #pttravel there's also ancient palaces, temples, admin buildings, etc, from pre-Roman to post-industrial. From African kingdoms to hyper-local industry. If i were at home I'd include a pic. I am not at home .

A1 Looking back on my photos, I have a real thing for cathedrals and churches.

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie Ooh yes factories! There’s a great Industrial museum in Bradford, and my favourite place is @SaltsMill where my Great Aunt worked before it was turned into galleries. #pttravel
