replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie I also adore art-deco. I remember visiting a town ‘Napier’ in Nz where they’d had an earthquake in the 30s & reconstructed all buildings in this style. It was awesome #pttravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2 I love gothic architecture, and when you see the stone mason has left their mark. I also love tudor buildings, and ones that are ‘outside of the box’ like the Sydney Opera House. The inside is totally different from the outside; a building within a building! #pttravel

A3 #PTTravel 'Cook's Cottage' in Fitzroy Gardens, Melbourne. Was shipped over brick by brick in the 1930s ... although Cook never actually lived there.; he'd already left home when his father built it. Although, no doubt, he did visit from time to time.

replying to @NomadKeith @NomadKeith #pttravel i went to an outdoor museum in northern ireland (Irish American Folk Musem, in Omagh), where they had, literally, imported a couple of buildings from the usa, brick by brick, and rebuilt them in the museum grounds, becuse they had specific relevance.

I am a fan of Roman architecture.

Loved to take lots of pictures of the colosseum in Rome.

The whole city has so many treasures to be discovered by foot! 🚶‍♀️📷 ⛲️

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot #pttravel I'm fond of outdoor museums that show how ordinary folk lived ... I'll say more about that in a later answer.
