@kate_frankie used to get headaches after long distance flights due to not drinking enough, I would carry at least a liter water bottle possibly two. this has helped but made an isle seat a must ;)
BTW you might change your minds when there are werewolves in london #PTTravel
A4: I'm a proper foodie and eating the local dishes is high on my list to do in a new place. I've just finished eating my way through Rome for the past few days :)

4. Guatemala

replying to @NomadKeith @NomadKeith I would fly 12 hours without a hesitation for a bowl of pho on the side of the street in Hanoi #PTTravel

A3 Get to a good viewing position fairly early on. Also, city squares or central areas. Look at a map and list of famous/popular things beforehand. Read a couple of blogs or check a guidebook. Do it my way & see what I want
RT @findinganeish: @kate_frankie A3. I like to climb. I don’t mind if it’s a mountain, a tower or a steeple, I like to escape the crowds an…
RT @aok_NW: A4 #PTTravel I don’t have food or drink, so I’ll show more views. Singapore, Table Mtn, South Africa, Xmas Market in Cologne,…

I'd go back to Hanoi tomorrow, just for the pho! https://t.co/SJB4FskFOP
RT @vickyinglis13: @kate_frankie A4. I think I'm going to head to Tarmachan Cafe in Crathie for coffee and a cinnamon roll pretty soon now…

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. I’m fairly easy pleased when it comes to food. When travelling I mostly subside on bread and milk, with cake and coffee for dessert. #PTTravel
replying to @OanaRoua @OanaRoua #pttravel My first question when I land in Australia is where can I get a pie?
replying to @findinganeish @findinganeish @kate_frankie Fat rascals! My granny used to make them and they were so good. #PTTravel

A4 Not this drink although my mouth was pretty numb. Cava took on a different meaning in Fiji
replying to @findinganeish @kate_frankie It’s partly a cost-cutting measure but mostly because German bread and milk are delicious. #PTTravel

Q5 Which favourite travel things do you always take with you on each trip, and why?
replying to @vickyinglis13 @vickyinglis13 @kate_frankie Haha, really? I genuinely think I offended the barista when I walked into Betty’s and asked what they were. #PTTravel
A5 #PTTravel My smartphone is my trip organizer & navigator. I never leave home without it.
A5: Packing cubes. They allow you to fly hand luggage only and make space for souvenirs. I returned from Italy today with a backpack full of cheese and hams, and a tiny packing cube compressing all my dirty clothes 😁 #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Woooo. We bought some kava in Suva to gift to islands we visited on a sailing ship. On my birthday we had some with the chief and he made sure my shell was filled to "high tide" 🥴 #PTTravel

@kate_frankie A5 Several weeks worth of clean underwear. I have been on too many work trips where my boss swears up and down I am just going for 3 days tops!
3 weeks later I see my house again.
I have learned to just bring 2 weeks worth of underwear regardless of how long #PTTravel
replying to @OanaRoua @OanaRoua So good! I had no idea how useful they were. Only tried a couple on a trip just before lockdown. I need to dig them out again #PTTravel
replying to @aok_NW @aok_NW I'm exactly the same. Everything is on it. Great devices in that respect #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5. Always practical, a headtorch and my leatherman multi-tool. #PTTravel
replying to @findinganeish @findinganeish Cake and a cuppa is something I crave when I'm in places that are very different from home. So nice to have when you get back #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie I just bought a new pack, as my old one broke and I am amazed on how much they evolved. These new ones have an extra zip that goes around them, for even more compression. #PTTravel

Q6 Which favourite things have you missed most during the pandemic when travel was not possible/easy to do?
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A6. Just taking a turn down an unfamiliar street to see what lies at the ebd of it. #PTTravel
A6: I missed just jetting off somewhere, on a weekend city break, for a tenner on Ryanair. I miss travelling without restrictions. #PTTravel
replying to @OanaRoua @OanaRoua Same here. I love finding out the local dishes. I haven't travelled extensively as a veggie yet so this might be trickier than before #PTTravel
A1: podcasts, magazines, occasionally music and shows in my own devices. I haven't used the in flight entertainment in a couple of years now #PTTravel
A5. I'm so bad at taking / keeping track of pics when I travel that I gotta screenshot something off of my own Instagram. BUT you're always gonna find me with some type of @Raptors gear. GUA 👏🏿 RAN 👏🏿 TEED 👏🏿 #PTTravel #wethenorth #GROAT @Klow7 https://t.co/Jao3hGesYz
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel a6 ... see, I'm always fond of hometown and domestic travel, so I've done some of that over the period, in the same style of travel as i do abroad, so I've not really *missed* much? I've not travelled much in two years more because of finance than because of pandemic.
