replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A2: hahaha, have you *seen* what I take on a normal trip?!

A1: if you're including June as summer, then summer as long as it's outside the school holidays. Although if we're going to the Southern hemisphere, we will go during their summer i.e. UK winter #PTTravel https://t.co/A6L1wvT0TU

A2: Pack light by a mile (or kilometer if you prefer). I hate packing a lot of things even for trips where it makes sense. It just feels like everything is cluttered and it's stressful. #PTTravel

A2 #PTTravel If I have to carry it, as light as possible! Only if I use my own car do I tend to overload.

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot What you can carry - is that your definition of packing? #PTTravel

A2 As light as possible. Most of our trips are 2-4 nights and itās small backpack only. Iām not waiting for checked in luggage. #PTTravel

A2 #PTTravel Bare minimum. I like to use the trains when available. When you get on and off trains, you donāt want to carry a lot, so I take only what I need.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie Yes to shoulder season. I'm usually at my busiest working in the peak of summer, and like to take my holidays in May and September so I avoid the biggest crowds #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2. There is no way Iām paying for hold luggage, so I travel as light as I possibly can (with a camera, tripod and three lenses). #PTTravel

A2 I try to pack light and often succeed. Occasionally, I think I need more than I do so end up not wearing/using items which are a waste of space. I think airline add-ons in Europe have made me think twice about how much I carry

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2. Very much depends on what I'm doing. A city break needs next to nothing, but adventures usually come with all sorts of essential gear that quickly adds up #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A2. Always light. Carry-on only if possible. Cheaper, more convenient. Most trips I go on involve multiple locations so I'm not tryna lug anything around. Noooooope. #PTTravel

replying to @Txiki_Tales @Txiki_Tales Yeah! Waiting for luggage is a pain. If its not necessary, I'll try to avoid too #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie my definition tends to be: i have a bag, what can i put in it? It's just my bags tend to be those you can fit on an aeroplane as hand luggage #pttravel

A1: I rarely travel during UK summer because it's the one time of year that's nice to be around and summer travel is expeeeeensive. Italy in 2020 wasn't too bad as it was during the pandemic so wasn't super expensive or busy #pttravel

A3 #PTTravel Far away, I like the adventure. South Africa, Croatia, Sydney & Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.

replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie #PTTravel I think there's a corollary to Parkinson's Law ... the larger your container, the more stuff you put into it.

A2: Hand luggage only regardless of length of trip or destination! Always with one of my llamas! @cotopaxi #pttravel

A3 Usually European city breaks. Some recent trips include MĆ”laga, Trogir, Girona and WrocÅaw #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE š. Canada expensive + there isn't much that I wanna see here that I haven't seen better elsewhere. Also, I want culture shock, to feel lost and uncomfortable. The only thing that makes travelling in Canada uncomfortable is the price š #PTTravel

A3: I was thinking about this in Barcelona. I think I just enjoy trips as far away from home as possible because it feels like you're actually away. Like I could be home tonight I'm sure if I really wanted to. #pttravel
