replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. I tend to spread the cost out by buying flights one month, accommodation the next, then currency and train tickets, so I plan a couple of months in advance. #PTTravel

A5: A little of both. When we're on big trips, we typically do a few days where we're busy followed by a couple slower days. Case in point, we're going to Italy in a month. There'll be a few days in Venice and Florence followed by two days to Cinque Terre. #PTTravel

A5 I'm similar to everyone else. A mix of both is usually what I go for.
Places in Asia can be a really juxtaposed mix of this, with very busy cities and serene park areas to get away from it all

A5 One long trip is not recommended by Good Housekeeping. Why wear yourself out on a trip, making you long to get back to work to relax? #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel Arran the week just gone, London next weekend, possibly Ireland at the start of June but we'll see. No other plans yet and all three of those mentioned were/are catering around other people's plans.

A6 #PTTravel I use to do more short trips, but now, I’ll do a couple of longer trips in a year. My trip to the Midwest next month will be two weeks & the first really big trip since COVID started.

A6 #PTTravel Costa Rica in November, But, we're not taking out any travel insurance till we've paid the balance. That way, we'll be covered for another 'big trip' in Spring (Borneo, maybe?) Short UK based till then.

A6: Maybe next week I'll be able to give a straight answer hah Again, I have to say both. We try to do 2-3 7+ day trips per year with several smaller 3-5 day trips here and there along the way. #PTTravel
