replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel A4: quite often. And because I travel solo, it means I'm very much disconnected from my friendship circles. It also means I can't rely on my usual offline standby of typing on the portable computer. Ngl, I get quite angsty and lonely.

A4: I was in a village in Tanzania when the power went out because an electricity pole fell down. It was new year's eve as well. It was an interesting experience, but it encouraged human contact rather than time spent on the phone #PTTravel

@kate_frankie The starlight pics were taken lying my camera on a park bench with a 30-second shutter speed, and shooing straight upwards (with a timer, so the action of my pressing the button didn't rock the camera during the shot.) #pttravel
The northern lights used a very small tripod.

A4 Only when camping š which is not my preferred style of travel these days. Although youngster told me yesterday that he does fancy doing the Le Mans camping experience at some point. š¬š #PTTravel
