@kate_frankie #pttravel I've been to the Isle of Arran this year, as well as Northern Ireland, but I don't have (m)any pics edited from those trips yet.
I have pics from last year's trips tho, to Orkney ...
A3 #PTTravel Forgot to mention this. The Bluebell Railway, which we rode in February, to celebrate a 'significant birthday'
A4 #PTTravel The one change I made on this trip was I wear face coverings in airports or other crowded places & on jets before they start ventilation. Not much else. Jefferson City the capital of Missouri.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. I opted for hotels over hostels in Switzerland (to eye-watering expense, it must be said) as I didn’t feel comfortable staying in eight-man dorms post-pandemic. And I’m still masking up indoors. #PTTravel
A5 #PTTravel Leaving behind? Nothing I think. I’m looking forward to everything. The Dwight Eisenhower Library in Kansas.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5. I’m just delighted to have travel back, even if it’s just the possibility of travel. But I don’t want to lose my newfound respect and renewed interest in my local area. Tayside, Angus and Aberdeenshire got me through lockdown. #PTTravel
A6 #PTTravel Don’t rush it. Decide where you want to go, find out if there’s travel restrictions coming & going, plan accordingly. Overlooking downtown Kansas City.
replying to @RTWBarefoot @RTWBarefoot @kate_frankie Nothing’s open! There’s one pub that seems to serve the entire area - slowly. It’s pretty, though. #PTTravel
