Places you love

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. I love small museums and the German language and mountain views and wildlife encounters, as well as water fountains and street art and church towers and nice bread. #PTTravel
A5 It might be OTT and ostentatious but a few years ago I got a cracking deal for us to stay at Atlantis the Palm for a few nights. Waking up to this view was spectacular. #pttravel

A5- Just got back from a stay at @SecretsWOrchid in #MontegoBay

A5 #PTTravel That’s not something I focus on. Usually accommodations are just a place to sleep & wi-fi. I remember staying at a Doubletree in Beijing that was really nice. Here’s Talking Rocks Caverns outside Branson. If you like caves, you’ll like Missouri.

A4 So many things - a lovely glass of local wine, historic places and the journey there, standing in front of something that takes your breath away, the raw encounters with majestic and terrifying wildlife
A5: I really loved my stay at a vineyard in the South of England, last year, when we had a bit of a break during the pandemic. It was such a nice way to escape the "home". #PTTravel
A5 #PTTravel How about this? The Shahpura Hotel in Jaipur! (I've enthused about this place so often, I might try to blag a discount if I stay there again!)
In #CostaRica I stayed @Lagunalodgecr in Tortuguero where this sloth dropped in #PTTravel A5
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5. I’ve stayed at Kingshouse near Glencoe twice now - either side of a fairly drastic redevelopment - and loved it both times. #PTTravel
replying to @findinganeish @kate_frankie A5. I quite liked my hotel in Zermatt as well. The breakfast was nice, the staff were friendly and I could see the Matterhorn from my shower. #PTTravel

A6- I've had so much good food around the world, but I think I'm going with this dish I had in 🇰🇷#Busan

A6 Pintxos from the Basque Country - snacking while exploring a city on foot is one of our favourite pastimes. #PTTravel
A6 #PTTravel I ate well in the Balkans. I tried a little of everything, never a bad meal. If you hungry down there, it’s your own fault. This if @FortSmithNPS & now on to St Louis.
A6: So many. I remember my first ceviche bought in a plastic bag from a street vendor. Or trying carillada in Spain for the first time. Or the fondue cheese pasta I had a couple of weeks ago at an Alpine hut in Switzerland. Food is such an important element of my trips. #PTTravel
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A6. I tend to save money and time on food when travelling by avoiding restaurants. Honestly, I’m perfectly content with bread and milk. Or cake and coffee if I’m feeling plush. #PTTravel
A6 #PTTravel Rather than post my pic of Vietnamese pho yet again, here's my second favourite, the Aussie Pie ... Harry's Café de Wheels, Wooloomooloo.
