@kate_frankie #pttravel a3 i love watching the world go by. Especially from a bus or train window.
Planes, not so much.

A2 Countries and regions - Antarctica, Italy, Egypt, India, Thailand, Peru, Spain, Tanzania, New Zealand. I could keep going! Those are some favourites

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A3. The journey is very much a means to an end for me. I hate air travel, get stressed out by cars and spend most train journeys wanting to get off and explore. But maybe that’s just because I love walking so much. #PTTravel

@Txiki_Tales I'm in Annecy. On my way back home I'm flying back to Glasgow from Paris for about €60.
This is because the Flixbus to London was £119, and the train to Glasgow from there was about £75. I could take the overnight megabus to Glasgow but just no lol. #pttravel

Getting up close and personal with the local wildlife is one of my favourite things to do when travelling #PTTravel A4

A1: I love discovering new places, new cultures, and new people. I think travelling is about making connections and opening up your mind. Growing up in a former communist country, travelling was the way I learned about how differently united we, as people, are. #PTTravel

A4 #PTTravel Old Town Branson, Missouri. I was surprised at the big names in such a little town. That’s how well the music scene treats them.

@NomadKeith @FE_photograph I have a friend in Belgrade. I visited her a few years back & her bf had a Yugo that may've been older than me. Virtually nothing on the dashboard worked & the door didn't close properly.
He said: it always starts. If it doesn't start, it needs petrol. Then it starts. #pttravel

A2: This is the hardest question you can ask me about travelling. I can never pick a place, a country, or a continent. I believe that travelling is about the emotional connections you make to a place, and it's impossible to choose one over another. #PTTravel

A3: It's not about the destination, it's all about the journey. I like to get there slow, taking in all the experiences along the way. #PTTravel

A4 #PTTravel Places I've never heard of! This is Mt. Orsono and Lake Llanique ... and the first time I heard the names was the evening before our excursion. And, this is just one example!

replying to @findinganeish @findinganeish I guess walking is technically transport. It can be a journey. I mean @RTWBarefoot often walks across country. I'd love to do Camino de Santiago #PTTravel
