Q5 Tell us about good customer service you've had that turned your frustration into calm/gratitude

A5 Every single customer service in Japan 😉 But I guess Cambodia wins. There was noisy construction going on next to my cheap backpacker hotel (I didn't complain). During check-in, I got upgraded to a 4-star hotel down the road + free dinner #pttravel

A5 #PTTravel Pity VLM is no more! On a flight to Antwerp, they mislaid my bag. They gave me a toiletry kit and a T-shirt, noted where I was staying. I went directly to the meeting ... and, on checking in at the hotel, my bag was waiting for me, having been sent on a later flight

A5 #PTTravel Once when my flight was canceled, I find this out at the airport. They were going to leave me in limbo (standby). I asked the clerk if anything was available on another carrier & to her credit she found something. I told the airline they needed more like her.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5. I don’t tend to expect much in the way of customer service. Having worked in hospitality for too many years I try extremely hard to keep my stupid questions and unsolicited opinions to myself. Just give me an approximation of what I paid for and I’m good. #PTTravel

A5: When my flight was overbooked in Toronto and I was bumped on the next one 12 hours later, the customer agent from Air Canada was really understanding and made it all feel painless when he offered me a check for 800 dollars. I couldn't leave the airport though. #PTTravel
