Q6 Would you compromise on food and drink on a trip (less or very cheap) in order to do/see more? Why/why not?

A6 #PTTravel Again I usually don’t spend much on food & drink, so no, this would not be a problem.

A6 All the time. I do think that some fine dining has the ‘emperor’s new clothes’ about it and not worth anything approaching the price. Give me local street food any day of the week. #pttravel

A6 #PTTravel Certainly not! Although, having said that, local fare is often surprisingly cheap. What creeps me out is the 'half board syndrome' where people pig out at breakfast, so they don't need any lunch.
