A2 #pttravel Normally, I won't accept anything below 3-star Except when cruising, when I'll take the cheapest going. I just use the cabin for sleeping and changing clothes; it you pay extra for a window or porthole, you can usually see damn-all but open sea or dockside, anyway.

Our activity planning is a compromise - if they want to do 'x' I either have to do 'x' too or we accept that we'll do our own thing. We're fortunately never unwilling to compromise that. #pttravel

My 'circle of where to stay' in London for instance goes out to Zone 5. #pttravel Cos got so many London Boroughs to tick off, innit.

A4 #PTTravel I would and have. In Venice, I found a great rate on a Crowne Plaza, but it was 20 minutes from the city. A train ran by hotel & I was able to buy tickets at the desk & still have easy access to the city.

A4 Yes, we’ve done this many times before even staying at the airport in Bremen once as the trams reach the town hall in 7 minutes. Staying next to train stations is not always the safest option but can be cheaper and convenient. This was our view in Pisa! #PTTravel
