Q1 Urban exploration can be fun at home or on a city trip. What things do you like to explore in urban areas?

@kate_frankie #pttravel A1: I tend to walk around suburbia a lot. It's amazing what you can find on even an out-the-way residental street.

A1 #pttravel Usually nothing specific. I’ll just walk around. If I’m in a big city in the US, I’ll try to find a @mlb ballpark & see a game. This was Kansas City & Kauffman Stadium where the @Royals play. I had wanted to visit this park forever.
A1: I like to explore the hidden corners of a city. The narrow alleys leading to old buildings, tiny plazas, painted facades, etc #PTTravel

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A1. When visiting a city at home or abroad, I try to mix it up with a bit of cafe culture, a look around any striking museums and churches, a walk along the river or around the lake, and some chill-out time at a cemetery or zoo. #PTTravel

@kate_frankie #pttravel A1: In my time in Glasgow I'm using the railway stations as 'signposts', so I know if I haven't been to a railway station it means I haven't explored that bit of the urban area. So for me it's just a desire to see something new.
Even if it's just a row of housing!

A1: Rome always surprises you. There is something waiting to be discovered at every corner, be it a statue on a building, a fresco, a house full of flowers, or even a shop :) #PTTravel
