replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel a5: nah, or at least, I don't book travel any differently depending on time of year. Only on complexity of journey.

replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A4. And I've booked a trip to Norway for next April for some adventure + fingers crossed, the bit of sightseeing I've still never managed to do, at the Fram Museum, Kon-Tiki and the Viking ship museum #PTTravel
A5 I use Skyscanner to search flights but try to always book direct. With hotels, again I try to book direct and these days make sure the booking is flexible with a decent cancellation policy. #PTTravel

@kate_frankie #pttravel I'm doing less complex journeys atm primarily for financial reasons, also I've been taking more short breaks of late so have less holiday time from work to do the complicated and long stuff.
The pandemic, or at least residual admin relating to it, hasn't helped tho.
replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie A5. Look at cheap flights, pick one, then plan. I usually wing it when it comes to things like that 😂 #PTTravel
A5 #PTTravel A difficult one! We like Wendy Wu, and APT travel ... we'll let you know about Titan when we get back from CR.
Saw a very tempting Caribbean cruise in the paper yesterday ... reasonable price, but then, we saw a picture of the ship:
A floating tower block! No way!

A6 #PTTravel Don't have kids! Unless you can convince the school authorities your trip is 'educational' 🤣
RT @NomadKeith: A6 #PTTravel Don't have kids! Unless you can convince the school authorities your trip is 'educational' 🤣
A6 #PTTravel It’s the best time to go. I’d keep an eye on the kind of weather you see in the area that time of year. Otherwise shop around to see what’s available.
A6 Just why not? I know this was also just after restrictions were lifted in 2020 but we almost had the place to ourselves. #PTTravel
