replying to @kate_frankie @kate_frankie #pttravel a5: what i'd be interested to know is, is it harder to budget if you can only use cash and not a card? Or vice versa - if you can only use a card? The former requires a bit more planning and angst, the latter it's just so easy to overspend.

A5 #pttravel I absolutely enjoyed Singapore, but it was an expensive place to visit & I did have some money put away prior to planning that one. It was worth the trip.

A5 #pttravel Probably Norway! First time I went there (1988) was on a coach from Germany. Last action before we left Denmark on the ferry was load several slabs of Carlsberg on to the bus! And, those who smoked, stocked up on tobacco!
